One of the benefits of having a private party with us is that you get to choose a theme for the painting or artwork. Don’t worry, if that’s too much pressure we can come up with something for you.

Creative Community Events in Botany, Sydney

Q: Do you provide food and drink?

We don’t provide food and drink but we are more than happy to send you through some local catering options if you are a bit stuck, and you can contact them directly.

Q: We aren’t really into the creative arts, can I just hire your space?

We know that creative workshops aren’t for everyone but if you are still looking for a space to host your friends or team, we do have space hire options available. One of our staff will stay onsite with your group and we just ask you to leave the space as you found it.

Q: Is your venue pram friendly?

There is a ramp leading up to the front door with one step to get inside. There is also one step on the way to the bathroom.

Q: Do you host private functions?

We certainly do! We have different packages for children, adults, businesses, schools and the community. Check our events packages online.

Q: What facilities are available?

If needed you can have access to our fridge, freezer, microwave and kettle. And there are ladies and gents toilets too of course.

I celebrated my 70th birthday at The Brightspace - it was a mid week high tea and painting party. All my friends raved about it and many of them have never done anything like this before. The teacher was wonderful and I’m just so delighted to have had such a memorable birthday that my friends still talk about, thank you.

We recently celebrated my daughters 4th bday with 25 kids. It was a wonderful experience and so easy to organise. Staff were very accommodating, helpful and so great with the kids on the day. We chose the brightspace for our daughter’s 6th birthday party as the venue is a great space for a child’s party and the painting theme was unique and fun for this age group.

The organisation process was simple and easy…we were very pleased with how the venue was set up on the day.

Most importantly - our daughter and her friends had a fabulous time, both the host and artist were engaging and fun. We will definitely return for a workshop in the future.

I cannot gush enough about how wonderful The Brightspace is! I’m so happy to have come across this beautiful space where we had my daughter’s 10th birthday party this morning. She and her friends had the most fabulous time (as did I, there was a spare seat so I got to join in too!) and Carlos, the amazing artist, was so patient and helpful… I can’t wait to return… my girlfriends and I are already planning a wine and painting evening!

The girls had such a fun time there and the artist was so engaging – helped them to stay very focussed on their painting. A massive shout out to The Brightspace in Botany. My daughter broke her wrist 2 weeks ago on her birthday so we were limited with party options. At the last minute I found out about this amazing place. They made it extra special for my daughter and she had a ball. The art teacher was amazing and the girls absolutely loved her. I couldn’t recommend it more for a party.
