(Plus, you’ll walk away from your creative party with a work of art to display, along with a whole host of fun memories to cherish!)

Perks of hosting your art party at The Brightspace:

  • You choose your preferred ‘workshop’ type: You’ve the option of acrylic paint, watercolour paint, soft pastels, oil pastels, collage, wire sculpture, air dry clay, polymer clay—and the freedom to choose what theme of artwork best suits your interests (or your child’s)!
  • We provide all the quality art supplies—you just bring the celebration crew!
  • You’ll be taught by experienced artists: Every single art teacher at The Brightspace is a professional artist, and some have even exhibited their work around the world! We think that’s a pretty big draw.
  • Tech tools make learning new art techniques easier: We display a digital real-time reflection on the big screen, so you can clearly see your “teacher” creating artwork. This makes learning the techniques easier for all attendees.

Ways we make your creative party shine

  • Flexible options for food and refreshments. You can either save by having the freedom to BYO refreshments (we also have tea and coffee facilities onsite). Or we can provide local catering recommendations once your art party date is locked-in.
  • Freedom to decorate our space and make it your own.
  • We handle the clean-up. So you can just show up, set-up the space, and have fun!

(We know the pressure of entertaining can be a lot, so we make it easier!) Plus, they also play a game with your celebration crew during your creative party.

I celebrated my 70th birthday at The Brightspace - it was a mid week high tea and painting party. All my friends raved about it and many of them have never done anything like this before. We chose the brightspace for our daughter’s 6th birthday party as the venue is a great space for a child’s party and the painting theme was unique and fun for this age group.

The organisation process was simple and easy…we were very pleased with how the venue was set up on the day.

Most importantly - our daughter and her friends had a fabulous time, both the host and artist were engaging and fun. We will definitely return for a workshop in the future.

I cannot gush enough about how wonderful The Brightspace is! I’m so happy to have come across this beautiful space where we had my daughter’s 10th birthday party this morning. She and her friends had the most fabulous time (as did I, there was a spare seat so I got to join in too!) and Carlos, the amazing artist, was so patient and helpful… I can’t wait to return… my girlfriends and I are already planning a wine and painting evening!

A massive shout out to The Brightspace in Botany. My daughter broke her wrist 2 weeks ago on her birthday so we were limited with party options. At the last minute I found out about this amazing place. They made it extra special for my daughter and she had a ball. The art teacher was amazing and the girls absolutely loved her. I couldn’t recommend it more for a party.

  • 1.5 hour workshop of your choice
    • acrylic paint, watercolour paint, soft pastels, oil pastels, collage, wire sculpture, air dry clay, polymer clay available.
    • Please note: Clay-based creative parties are $8 more per person and 30 mins longer.
  • BYO Food and Drinks
  • Event host.
  • Music, games and disco lights!
  • Tea and coffee facilities
  • Onsite bathrooms.
  • “Mingle area” for parents if they want—or alternatively, they can join the fun at children’s rates (saving $10).
